In 2013 CFSEA implemented community capacity building programs. The Community Knowledge Centre is a web based tool that provides information about charities to aid donors and volunteers in their decisions about providing support. The Foundation is the back bone organization for a community collaboration council that presents a biennial community conference. Random Act of Kindness Day brings together thousands of volunteers who undertake acts of kindness which when combines with the pay it forward concept results in this program affecting the majority of our community. Board Leadership provides local charities with workshops that enhances knowledge about governance, finance and other related matters.
