The Delta Mill Society is a Public Amenities Charity located in Delta, ON.

Services Provided by The Delta Mill Society
The Delta Mill Society continued to maintain, exhibit and program two heritage buildings - The Old Stone Mill National Historic Site and the Old Town Hall. The OSM is an operating stone gristmill build in 1810 as as such the oldest in Ontario. The OTH was built in the 1880's as a town hall, community meeting centre, theatre and Masonic Hall. Until 2013, it housed the Museum of Industrial Technology but was subsequently renovated back to its original purposes as a community meeting hall. It also serves as the storage centre for the DMS artifacts and archives. Both buildings were open to residents and visitors from the May long weekend until Labour Day as well as other scheduled special events such as, the Delta Maple Syrup Festival, the Harvest Festival and the Celebrate the Season Christmas Festival. Milling continued bi-weekly during the summer season demonstrating to visitors the milling process of bygone years and producing flour for visitors and local food enterprises. In our gift shop we sell bread made from OSM flour. Students hired for the summer and local volunteers continued to give tours of the OSM and OTH. The OTH is used frequently throughout the year as a venue for weddings, banquets, DMS and community fundraising events and other community activities.
