Developing and dellvering training to front line transition house workers across BC Facilitating and supporting services and programs for women and their children fleeing violence Coordinating, training, and supporting Children who witness abuse programs (CWWA) across BC Coordinating Violence is Preventable (VIP) program in 35 schools which provide support and education to young people through presentations, counselling, and group interventions Ongoing public education and prevention activities Monitoring the federal and provincial legal and policy environment for issues impacting women, youth and children experiencing violence Providing a library of resources to Members Publication of a weekly newsletter Research to create Promising & Best Practices for front line workers, executive directors and counsellors Technology safety training, providing training to front line workers, police and others who serve women and children exposed to violence on how technology can put their safety at risk. developing resources to support inclusive practices attuned to diversity and local contexts.
