Providing comfort and service for community healthcare which includes purchasing and maintaining TVs for free patient use in their rooms. Running a thrift shop in rented premises and a gift shop in the hospital. All staffed by volunteers other than one or two paid security guards. Hold a fundraising bazaar in October. Run a Candy Striper program and offer scholarships to students who are entering medical-field studies. Provide assistance to other non-profit organizations in the Powell River region (Food Bank, Therapeutic Riding, Search & Rescue, etc)
