Anti-poverty programs for low income families includes-bably forumla,diapers,hygiene,school supplies,furniture exchange,summer activities,angel tree christmas gifts for childern and families,information & advocacy,community driven workshops,prevention of violence week presentations.Outreach worker client support,community education & awareness.Transition Houlse-shelter fo r wormen & their children,women support groups.Donations Room {new name:Free Store} clothing & household itemes for low income families.Stopping the Violence Womens Counsellor-children who witness abuse-individual counselling& group support for children, information on social issues affecting women.Violence is preventable-group presentations for youth. Homeless outreach worker-providing emotional support,advocacy with land lords & financial assistance with rent or barriers to maintaining suitable housing.
