A Homelessness Partnering Strategy program was started in the year as an outreach program funded by the local United Way through funding received from the federal government. The program is designed to have staff interact with individuals in the community who are homeless and who require supports to access suitable housing and, more importantly, to survive on the streets as many encounter extreme barriers to housing.
