Provides services to HIV affected children & families through volunteer program which recruits, trains, matches volunteers with families in need. Family Support Program provides practical assistance in the form of Kids lunch packs, TTC tokens, diapers for children up to age 3, clothing exchange, back to school supplies, welcome home baby bags for new moms, warm hats & mitts. We offer free formula to HIV+ mothers in Ontario up to age 1. Leading the Way/Counselling runs emotional support groups for children, youth & families and provides child & family focused programs & outings during school breaks. Individual counselling is offered for children & parents. Pre-Natal Groups are held for pregnant, HIV+women, as well as groups for new mothers, a parenting group and a mom and toddler group. Our tutoring program recruits volunteer tutors to work with children identified as needing additional academic help. We offer an overnight camp for children in partnership with Moorelands Community Services. We continue with our symposium related projects in preparation for the 2016 international symposium to be held in Durban. South Africa.
