Construction of homes to be sold to low income families. Provision of interest-free mortagages to the families who purchase the homes. Homes are builtin partnership with the families who must complete a specified number of sweat-equity hours. Mostly volunteer labour is used in construction the homes. Funds are raised through sponsorships, gift-in-kind donations, direct mail solicitations, fundraising events and through the sale of donated goods and materials in our two ReStore locations (Waterloo and Cambridge, ON).
