1. Operates grief groups, one-to-one grief support, grief phone support, self-care clinic. 2. Provides bereavement walking groups, one-to-one support for terminally ill patients and their families. 3.Volunteers available eight hours daily on the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. 4.Professional counselling for palliative and bereavement clients, education on grief/loss/suicide to teens in school classrooms, education to RN/LPN, RCA programs at local university. 5.One-to-one support for terminally ill patients and their families, program to enhance self-care, relaxation and energy. 6.Teen grief support and counselling, Thrift Shoppe, Twinning Project with Bhaktapur Cancer Clinic in Nepal. Elders in Transition Program-volunteers will help elders who need to downsize due to health or aging issues by disposing of unwanted items
