Services Provided by Royal Canadian Legion Fredericton (Nb) Br # 4, Branch Poppy Fund, The

Veterans and Ex-Servicemen's organization to provide assistance to Veterans and their dependents, educational assistance and to perpetuate the memory of whose who died in service to their country and to those who have died since. The programs with which the charity achieves its charitable purposes are as follows: Housing and assistance for seniors, low income and those with disabilities, bursaries, awards. The charity, in conjunction with other legion branches, has instituted a homeless veterans program, in which homeless veterans are identified, and once identified, assisted with that which they need to become a producing member of society.
