Pictou County Opportunity For Men Association provides counselling for adolescent and adult males that exhibit violent behaviour. The counselling is done on an individual and group basis. An extension of this program is "Parenting with a purpose". The purpose is to develop and implement a parenting program model for high risk fathers to develop positive attitudes and increase parenting understanding and abilities/skills among high risk fathers.
