F A M E provides support and education services to family members of persons with a serious mental illness. Group support services are available to spouses, parents, siblings and children. Our Famekids program is a specialized program for children aged 7-12 who have a family member withe a mental illness. It educates and equips kids with coping skills through artwork, discussion and games in a safe environment. Individual and one to one support services are also available. Public education and a speakers series on family education are available throughout the GTA. Specialized support is offered in areas including concurrent disorders, dual diagnosis and psycho-geriatrics.
