Services Provided by Vancouver Opera Guild
1.We provide a venue,judge,audience,and prize money for the Metropolitan Opera Auditions in Western Canada. 2.We provide financial support for Vancouver Opera Association productions.3.We provide support to the Vancouver Opera Association's Project Opera andOpera Camp to educate young students about opera. 4.We give bursaries to opera students at UBC's School of Music and the Vancouver Academy of Music and provide some production support. 5.We supply transportation volunteers and food for performers and production crew with Vancouver Opera as well as artists' door security and theatre lobby information. 6.We host fund-raising and members' events and produce a member newsletter.
