Particular Council consists of reps from seven Parish Conferences in the Dartmouth area. The Conferences assists those in need with food, and other necessities through home visits and/or visits by clients to parish halls where food is available for pick up. In addition, financial assistance is provided in some instances with heating, electricity, rent, medical and transportation and emergencies as the need arises. Food, etc., is also provided in hampers at Christmas time. Some Conferences also assist with the preparation and serving of food in soup kitchens in the community. Spiritual encouragement is offered when appropriate.
