Campbell River Child Care Society continues to operate three separate licensed child care centres: Hemlock Early Learning and Care Centre is an under three centre licensed for 12 children. Leishman Early Learning and Care Centre is a licensed program for 25 3-5 year olds. Willow Point Children's Centre is a licensed centre for 20 kindergarten age to 12 year olds as well as a 3-5 year olds early learning half day program run twice weekly for 15 children. We also sponsor and operate Family Place programs two mornings per week; one from our Willow Point facility and one from our Hemlock Street building. These are free drop-in programs for parents and young children. Board members sit on many early childhood development committees in the community on behalf of the CRCCS. Our board members and other community members donate several hundred hours annually to aid our programs.
