Our focus now is in three major efforts. First to expand the existing passenger rail service in Atlantic Canada, to have some of the passenger trains that were cut in 1989 returned. Second, improved ferry services in this region, particularly the Marine Atlantic service between Nova Scotia and Nwfoundland, keeping rates and standard of service as set out in the terms of Confederation. Third, to preserve our rail freight lines/no mote cuts withemphasis on the rail line across Cape Breton Island.
