Palliative & Oncology Home Care Program- home visits by experienced registered nurses, providing specialized assessment, symptom management & support to cancer & ALS patients and their families (particularly in the palliative stage of the disease(s)). Carousel Childrens' Program-support for children & youth dealing with on-going family illness. Counseling for loss & change. Weekend bereavement camps held twice a year youths aged 6-17 years old. Adult Bereavement Program-group sessions lasting 8 weeks, held three times per year, to assist bereaved adults in dealing with the loss of a loved one. Adult Day Centre Program- daytime program for frail, elderly, disabled orcognitively impaired adults. To socialize & be stimulated in a safe & friendly environment while providing the caregivers with some respite. Currently offered four days per week at two different locations. Home Support Services- a home health aide can provide personal care, companionship & respite for caregivers. Foot Care Clinics- foot care services for seniors.
