The Society provides quality community-based programs to stop violence against women and children, to move low income women and children out of poverty and to promote legal rights, justice and services for women and children. Main program areas:[1] advocacy, information and outreach: Specialized Victim Assistance, Womens' Outreach Counselling, Community Justice Program; [2] sexual assault counselling: Child and Youth Sexual abuxe Intervention, Adult Sexual Assault/Abuse Counselling;[3] education and abuse prevention: Girls United primary intervention and intervention with at-risk adolescent and pre-teen girls.
