The main purpose of BSOSS is to promote the emotional health and well-being of seniors through the support of their peers, thereby enhancing their quality of life. To promote seniors' independence, self-esteem and individual goals. This program includes a 54 hour Communication and Counsellor Training course for the prospective volunteers peer counsellors. Our "Family Caregivers Program" provides information and support to alleviate stress of those providing care to aged or disabled family members/friends.
