AIDS Vancouver Island provides prevention education and support programs to people living with, affected by and at-risk for HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C on Vancouver Island. Targeted prevention and support programs are aimed at men who have sex with men, aboriginal communities, women, street-involved adults and youth, prisoners, and people who use injection drugs. We provide long and short-term solution based counselling, support and referrals as well as workshops, presentations and awareness raising events. The organization further provides volunteer and community engagement opportunities to clients and the general public.
