Services Provided by Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society
We operate a medical and dental clinic as well as a STOP HIV/AIDS clinic with the Indigenous Elder Partnership Program supporting Western and traditional approaches to health. We provide HIV/AIDS clients and pregnant or parenting women with substance use issues with rent subsidy. We provide care, treatment and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Downtown East side of Vancouver and con-current health issues such as substance abuse, mental health, chronic disease, homelessness and poverty. We operate an Aboriginal Cancer awareness program, Aboriginal community garden and Aboriginal early childhood program for children under the age of six and supported child development program.
