As sponsor, administer and support in partnership with the Dept. of Nat'l Defense and the Air Cadet League of Canada (Ontario Provincial Committee under the aegis of the Air Cadet League of Canada (National) a squadron youth unit providing Citizenship, leaderhsip, interpersonal skills, support/administer fund raising campaigns, financial management and support around an interest in aviation to youths 12 to 18 years of age in a multicultural environment. The young men and women cadets of he squadron participate in local training provided by a cadre of DND C.I.C officers under the Dept. of Nat'l Defense, Canada. We promote awareness of the Country's diversity often resulting in strong lifelong friendships with young Canadians in other provinces. Summer courses include Glider/power pilot training licenses to DOT standards, Leadership, Athletic, Survival, Aerospace technology, band/music courses and time management skills. The cadets also participate in and support civic activities such as legion poppy fund campaign, Remembrance Day, civic parades and other activities in support of local communities. Conduct effective communication/debating skills and provide opportunity for participating in Sports competition.
