Services Provided by The Air Cadet League Of Canada 778 Richmond Hill Squadron
Administer, in partnership with the Department of National Defense (DND), under the supervision of the Canadian Forces (CF), a unit to foster the development of citizenship, leadership and life skills around an interest in aviation to youth 12 to 18 years of age. The Cadets participate in local training developed under DVD guidelines, during school years, attend summer courses which range from 2-8 locales-tours general survival, instructor & leadership, aviation techniques, band, power/glider pilot-license. They also participate in, and support various avic activities in their community such as Remembrace day and other community parades, Mayor's breakfast, band performance, Canada Day celebrations, etc.
