Services Provided by Manitoba Camping Association Inc
1.) Furthering the interests and welfare of children, youth and adults through the provision & promotion of opportunities for organized camping as an educational, recreational, and character building process; 2.) Promote and administer the "Sunshine Fund" by raising funds that will provide opportunities for Manitoba children & youth from low-income financially disadvantaged families to attend an Accredited summer camp program; 3.) Act as the co-ordinating body for organized camping throughout Manitoba, including the review and Accreditation of Camps operated within Manitoba; 4.) Research and review all aspects of camping in order to disseminate information & advice concerning matters/issues relevant to the camps industry to its members; 5.) Function as the Provincial section of the Canadian Camping Association (the "CCA/ACC") and to act as a liaison between the CCA and local camps.
