River Valley School Society offers a quality private Montessori and Progressive Education program from Tots to Grade 6. Our Progressive program is accredited through Alberta Education and we also operate the only accredited Montessori elementary school program in Western Canada. We develop students who have strong academic and leadership skills, social and academic confidence, leadership, global citizenship, independence, creativity, trust and peace. We strive to cultivate within our students a passion for excellence in everything they do, both inside and outside the school. We develop within our students a strongly held set of beliefs, which include self-respect, respect for others and the environment. We challenge our students to take risks, make mistakes and learn from themselves and each other, fostering their own natural curiosity. We support various programs that impact those around us, our city, our country and our world. Our students develop a lifelong love of learning in a respectful and caring community.
