Supporting research into disorders of the ear, nose and throat. this specialty in medicine is known as Otorhinolaryngology, Otolaryngology, Otolarnyngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Ear Nose & Throat, or ENT. In particular the Pacific Otolaryngology Foundation ("POF") supports the Doyle-Jacks Professorship in Otolaryngological Research at the University of British Columbia ("UBC") in Vancouver Canada and from time to time programs of research by members of the Division of Otolaryngology at UBC and/or other research into ENT disorders by ENT students (residents) at UBC.
