Services Provided by Youth Employment Centre-Bold Street
Through agreements with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, employment services are provided to the community's job seekers and employers. With a focus on those with barriers to employment including first time job seekers(youth/students), those on social assistance/with disabilities, long term unemployed, new comers, etc; we provide intensive assisted services including employment counselling job referral, employment legislation/safety info etc. Subsidized/supported job trials/placements increase opportunities for those requiring additional training. A Resource Centre offers training/workshops and additional supports. Employers are supported in their hiring needs with assistance including funding to increase the skill lvel of their workforce.
