Science weeks during the spring break and summer break were offered. It has evolved into a science day program monthly. The students are very excited and enthusiastic about attending. The library displays change regularly and coordinate with the topics of the programs. Over the year, 270 programs were offered to children, young adults and adults. A teen therapy group was also offered at the library led by a qualified volunteer. The library participated in the Read for 15 Challenge with Sylvan Lake. We didn't win but will try again next year. The Library manager has started a program going into the school and reading to each class from K to grade 6 for a "resd day" in May. A science camp was held from March 29 to April 1 with an amazing number of topics and activities covered. A mini golf night was held by our summer employee, well received by the patrons. The library is also working with the high school to provide work experience for the students who are interested in libraries. A beginners course for adults on photography was offered this year.
