Project 25-44 (Sudbury) Vocational Resources Inc. carried out five programs during the year which are Employment Services, Target Initiative for Older Workers, Educational Workplace Training, Youth Employment Fund Program and Canada Ontario Job Grant. All programs are funded by the Ministry of Training, Collecges and Universities. Employment Services provides counselling and runs a placement service to assist unemployed or underemployed individuals and, new Canadians. Target Initiative for Older Workers assists those over 55 years old that are seeking employment or re-employment. Youth Employment Fund assists unemployed or underemployed individuals between the ages of 15-29 years of age. Educational Workplace Training provides reading and writing skills. Canada Ontario Job Grant that provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees
