The Toronto Fringe produces two annual festivals every year and operates The Creation Lab rehearsal space. The Toronto Fringe Festival runs the first two weeks of July and presents over 150 productions at venues across the city of Toronto. The festival includes FringeKids, which offers 9 Theatre for Young Audience productions for children 4-12 year old, as well as a FringeKids Club featuring outdoor concerts, play areas and daily workshops. I also includes Theatre Entrepreneur Network and Training Program (T.E.N.T) that offers 30 youth hands-on experience, mentorship and training on how to establish a career in theatre. The Next Stage Theatre Festival runs the first two weeks of January and presents 10 companies over the 12 day festival held at Factory Theatre in Toronto. Our home, the Fringe Creation Lab, welcomes independent artists year round, encouraging the creative work they do by offering them 2 affordable rehearsal spaces to make art, congregate and innovate.
