Services Provided by Touchstone Theatre Society
The Society's mandate is to develop and present professional Canadian theatre productions. The Society fulfills its mandate by producing and presenting a season of Canadian plays and by supporting the development of new Canadian plays and playwrights. In 2015/2016 the Society premiered The Best Laid Plans: a Musical, developed and produced with Patrick Street Productions; re-mounted our 2015 production of Late Company by Governor-General award-winning playwright Jordan Tannahill, and produced How to Survive an Apocalypse, the fifth incarnation of the Flying Start program for emerging playwrights, developed in partnership with Playwrights Theatre Centre and the Firehall Arts Centre. Touchstone Theatre's ongoing youth outreach programs include goPLAY and Scene/Change.
