We promote the reading, writing and illustrating of Canadian children's books. 1. Canadian Children's Book Week in which Canadian authors, illustrators & storytellers tour across Canada to meet young readers 2. Distributed a children's book to over 450,000 Grade One students across Canada. 3. Produced study guides based on young adult books for teachers 4. Produced Canadian Book News quarterly magazine 5. Produced Best Books- the annual authoritative guide to new Canadian children's books, magazines 6. Administetred the Norma Fleck award, Geoffery Bilson award and the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book award
