The Canadian Research Institute for Law and the Family (the Institute) is a non-profit independent institute. The major goals of the Institute are to undertake and promote interdisciplinary research, education and publication on issues related to law and the family. In fulfilling its mandate during 2016, the Institute conducted work on 15 research projects. The Institute completed 4 research reports, and 10 articles were published. In addition, Institute staff gave 27 presentations related to the Institute's work and participated in several conferences and events.
