Services Provided by Cythera Transition House Society
Provide a safe refuge and basic necessaties for up to 30 days to women and children who are fleeing abuse. Provide free and confidential help to women and children who have experienced or witnessed abuse in their relationships, through individual and group counseling. Provide to women and children fire access to clothing and household goods that they are unable to purchase themselves. Provide groups to moms with children 0-6 years old to connect with each other and learn about community resources. provide dinner programs to women and children (aged 0-6 years old) to promote healthy lifestyles and parenting support. Partner with School District 42 to deliver group in schools and deliver school based educational presentations to students in elementary and high school classrooms to increase awareness and focus on healthy relationships.
