Services Provided by The 411 Foundation
The purpose of the Foundation is to act as a public charitable foundation, and to serve the citizens of Greater Vancouver, by gifting funds to 411 Seniors Centre Society (1977) and other qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act; providing social and recreational programs and services to assist older persons in greater Vancouver; co-operating with governments and other registered charities in furtherance of these purposes; soliciting, collecting, receiving, acquiring, holding such property, equipment and materials as are deemed necessary to accomplish the Foundation s purposes; purchasing, leasing, selling or holding such property, equipment and materials as are deemed necessary to accomplish the Foundation s purposes; and doing all such other thing as may be incidental and ancillary to the attainment of these purposes.
