We are a charity dedicated to strengthening the foundations of communities. We do this by nurturing the potential of children, teens and young adults; promoting healthy living; and fostering social responsibility. Our focus on inclusiveness and accessibility means we serve people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through all stages of life. Through YMCA-YWCA of Guelph financial assistance programs, the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph is accessible to all. Our core offerings include: Childcare, Camping, Aquatics, Health and Fitness, Education, Volunteer Development, Global Initiatives, Community Initiatives and Opportunities to Give. Our organization also provides social development programs for teenage parents and their children in partnership with the United Way and the Ministry of Children's Services. We are active in our community through outreach programs such as the awareness of youth gambling, programs to combat childhood obesity and the swim to survive program offered to grade 3 and 5 students, partially funded by the Lifesaving Society.
