Services Provided by Yalenka Ukrainian Cultural Society
1. We support Ukrainian dance, language and cultural classes to promote our Ukrainian heritage in the community of Prince George and surrounding areas. 2. We provide humanitarian aid by shipping medical equipment and used clothing to orphanages and less fortunate families in Ukraine. This is the program that requires the most volunteer activities. Our volunteers help to collect used goods and then those goods must be sorted and the proper shipping documentation must be completed.
