United Way Oxford works to strengthen our community through mobilization of collective action to create measurable, cumulative, lasting change that improves lives and builds a resilient community. Through our annual fundraising campaign we are able to provide critical financial support to key local support service organizations who provide programming and supports to individuals of all ages. We participate in community decisions, mobilize action where appropriate; and provide a voice for those that often unable to. We partner with others to create opportunities for a better future; we provide resources such as finances, staff time, research skills to help strengthen impact, capacity, and the overall health of the not-for-profit sector. Our efforts are concentrated in 3 focus areas-Poverty to Possibility, All That Kids Can Be, and Strong Communities.
