The museum is open 5 days a week from May to September. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Tours are given to senior groups, school, and other small groups(individuals etc.). The last Sunday in August is "Heritage Day" drawing approximately 1000 people. this event includes displays, stage entertainment, demonstrations along with individuals having access to all the buildings and their pioneer artifacts. There is a Men's Club called "Reviving the Past" which is a group of men who meet on Thursdays from May to October to work on tools and machinery in the blacksmith shop. there are polish lessons given from October to April bi-weekly which is referred to as "Polish Czat".
