In 2015-2016, WESN Launched several new initiatives: - Moving toward Health project involving walking groups, exercise classes and opportunities to provide input on neighbourhood walkability. - Appointments for local older adults to complete and register Representation Agreements. - Project to raise awareness about elder abuse among landlords and property managers. - Free counselling clinic for older adults. On a regular basis, WESN also introduces new weekly or monthly programming of interest to local older adults.
