Provide fund raising support for local VON site (Hastings, Northumberland, Prince Edward Site). Grants provided by the Foundation to local side provide and fund a variety of professional treatment, education, assessment and care giver support to people of all ages experiencing a wade range of illness and injury. Programs funded include: home nursing visits, community support health care and education, friendly visiting, meals on wheels, diners club, transportation, foot care and school clinics, adult day services, respite care and education as well as shift nursing, personal support worker programs and occupational health, Smart program (Seniors Maintaining Active Rolls Together).
