We participated in Settlers Day at Settlers Village, in Remembrance Day in Lindsay, and continued to hold school and group tours, and open to the public as the community museum of Kawartha Lakes. Our permanent ongoing exhibits included the McCrea Collection, our First Nations exhibit, our military exhibits and cut glass collections As the 100th anniversary of World War One, we opened new special exhibits about Sir Sam Hughes, and Life's Fabric - using our clothing collection show what life in the Kawarthas was kike in 1914. We instituted special educational programs for Grades 1 and 2 classes about railroads and the train history of the area, we opened the W.A. Goodwin exhibit of art and began W.A. Goodwin walking tours, held a special program on Remembrance Day in conjunction with the Legion. WE also ran successful Family Day and March Break progtams including demonstrations of old film cameras and spinning and weaving
