The Celebration of the Arts operates mainly from September to October and celebrates the vast talent within the Uxbridge region and beyond. Included is a 2 day studio tour at 28 different locations, a juried art show, 3 different film festivals, a "Books and Authors" evening, a musical gala, a children's art show from the local elementary schools and a play written and put on by a Northern Ontario theatre group. The commitment by all the volunteers needed to run a festival of this magnitude makes it a widely anticipated event for the community. In addition to the annual events, the Art on the Fringe was moved to the Uxbridge Historical Centre introducing hundreds of new visitors to the site. The Gala features Leahy, The Next Generation,with 6 of their children performing on fiddle and piano and showing off their skills as step dancers. There were also free workshops in art, sculpting and musical theatre for the youth of the community. Two local, internationally known actors, "..." and "...", headlined events. "..." performed an Evening of Shakespeare and "..." and several other TV actors put on an Improv Comedy Night. As well there was "An Evening of Dance" featuring local dancers in different genres including Bollywood, Drum Dancing, Highland and Clogging.
