* Youth-In addition to sending children to ostomy camp in Alberta, we are now offering the excellent facilities at Camp Brigadoon in the Annapolis valley as an option for younger campers * Hospital Visitor Program-Our Peer Visitation Program provided visitor training to 4 Nova Scotia Ostomy Groups (Truro, Pictou County, Yarmouth & Bridgewater). As a result additional 25 additional volunteers are now certified to visit with new ostomates * External Visitor Program-An addition to this program was launched in co-operation with the NS Community Health Network. Ostomates who are not comfortable coming to meetings are now afforded the opportunity to speak about their day to day non medical concerns with a trained volunteer ostomate on an individual or small group basis
