Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Society preserves, promotes and provides quality instruction in Ukrainian dance and shares this dynamic aspect of Ukrainian culture with audiences at home and abroad. The organization fosters the development and professional growth of individuals through the creative expression of dance, and retains its strength through active involvement by the membership, alumni and volunteers. During the year, the performance ensemble performed numerous times in Calgary and joined with other similar groups ofr performances across western Canada. The organization also sponsors the Tryzub School of Ukrainian Dance which teaches dance to 120 children an D25 adults and has grown to operate 5 days a week.
