TPW programs support Canadian artists and educate the public about the vital role that still photographs and moving images play in contemporary culture. - We present up to seven exhibitions per year at Gallery TPW that explore the exchange between photography, new technologies, and time-based art. - We maintain a content-rich website presenting current information about contemporary photo and media-based art, as well as an archive of essays and images dating from 1976 to the present. - We commission and publish online essays to provide critical context for each exhibition. - We hold public events such as artist talks, lectures, and panel discussions. - We provide training and mentoring for youth who are pursuing careers in the cultural sector through co-op placements and paid internships.
