Clear Language & Design (CLAD) - Public education program that helps to promote clarity in materials and communications for public and private sector organizations. Youth Empowering Parents-The Youth Empowering Parents(YEP) program is simple but effective. It was developed by a group of youth from Regent Park with the aim of creating an environment to facilitate skills development and communication among newcomers. A facilitator provides teaching guidelines to a group of youth volunteers from the community, and then facilitated a classroom in which youth did the majority of the teaching. Newcomer adults are paired with a youth volunteer who speaks the same language as them.
