Programs enable seniors and adults with disabilities to remain in their homes safely and independently for as long as possible. Programs offered include: Meals on wheels; Congregate dinning; Transportation program (medical, shopping, social activities, adult day programs); respite care, homemaking; home maintenance; friendly visiting; daily phone security checks; foot care; caregiver education and training; hearing health clinic' income tax preparations; driver training programs (i.e. 55+ Alive, Defensive Driving) and social recreational programs (fitness, crafts, one time events, information sessions etc.). Going Home Program assists patients home from hospital (transportation as needed) and assists the patients up to 10 days with stabilizing and recuperating their health to prevent re-entry to hospital. North Gower- Richmond Outreach serves rural clients in a designated geographic area to increase access to programs.
