Now in its 93rd year of existence,the Victoria Branch of the Navy League ofCanada sponsors the Victoria Corps of the Canadian Sea Cadets,youths aged 12-18,and the Navy League Cadets youth aged 10-13.The Sea Cadet program is partially funded by DND. The Navy League Branch solely funds the Navy LeagueCadets,and partially funds the Sea Cadets programs. The Victoria branch is responsible for the accomodation as well as the operating expenses for the cadets including:provision of bursary funds for cadets to continue post graduation education,musical instruments,building maintenance,util;ities,office equipment and supplies,uniforms,insurance,training aids,travel and socialevents.
