The Navy League Cadet program Prince Edward Island Division is funded and operated by the Navy League of Canada. It is a civilian organization that aims to help young Canadians learn life skills including citizenship, leadership and teamwork. The Navy League program welcomes boys and girls between the ages of 9 to 19 Cadets come from many difference back grounds to share a common interest. They make friends, have fun they're learning good citizenship, leadership, a sense of duty, self-discipline, teamwork, healthy living and to respect others. They learn these skills through fun activities which include3: Sailing, camping, swimming, music, sports, parades, first-aid, water safety, communications, and trips.
